X-23 ditches the scythe for an Axe to become the Grim Reaper!

The idea here is to build her base attack up with Combat Training and Combat Specialist after clearing Specialized Training then attack as much as possible.

But wait there's more, the aforementioned Jarnborn has a really fun mechanic where we can spend a resource after we attack to deal another 2 damage. This is where the Grim in Grim Reaper comes into play.

Grim Resolve allows X-23 to generate a resource by taking a damage. We can use this to change it to a resource to deal the extra 2 damage from Jarnborn and then also ready from dealing damage to ourself!

This is really nice if you are a little low on health and don't want to pop he claws for a turn. You can still get the ready taking damage from Grim as well as hitting the requirement for Jarnborn.

Add in Mean Swing which can be used on both her claws or Jarnborn for some more damage as well as Skilled Strike and Adrenaline Rush.

In theory you can get her up to 9 attack from the Combat upgrades, Claw Mastery, her claws and both adrenaline rushes. Then adding in Skilled Strike, Hand Cannon and Mean Swing means an attack of 16 not counting damage from Jarnborn! With Adamantium Lacing she also has access to piercing meaning pesky tough minions won't matter.

Enhanced Physique makes an appearance to allow us to guarantee having a resource on turns where attack multiple times allowing us to use Jarnborn multiple times in a turn.

There is some really interesting decision making here as you can choose whether to use her claws or utilize Mean Swing to exhaust the claws and preserve health.

On turns where you use her claws, you can use Mean Swing on Jarnborn and then spend a resource to boost the damage even higher.

Honey Badger of course gets some attack Training and Game Time to feed us more readies.

Machine Man is really nice to help with thwarting when you're wanting to attack with X-23. He can take advantage of enhanced physique, Grim Resolve or dead cards in your hand.

While this may seem like a lot of setup, the deck is extremely cheap and not all pieces are needed to be effective. Even early game with one upgrade and jarnborn can deal a considerable amount of damage. Late game with readies and Honey Badger out can end the game in a flash.

The deck works fine solo but does do better in 2P or more where it can focus less on thwarting.

Also the upcoming card from Civil War Aggressive Conditioning would work extremely well in here for extra attack/health.

You can also choose to swap our Adrenaline Rush for Sidearm giving our allies ranged and they also double as a resource to hit Jarn requirements.

I'd love to hear any feedback or experiences with it!
