Ready for a Fight: Part IV: Ready for a Hulk Smash!

Hulk Smash!

Part of my **Ready for a Fight series of heroes**, which is the best way to reframe old heroes.

I'll have to admit, trying to get a good solo deck was incredibly challenging, and the cards I was using for other heroes—see list below—were just not working. Since Hulk discards all his cards in hero form and can't thwart, even a simple scenario like Klaw was incredibly frustrating.

The solution was to use hardly any Protection cards and focus on basic allies that can thwart.

If you want to have a Hulk deck that can survive, this is it.

The deck is based on staying in Alter-Ego form as often as possible, without having the villain scheme.

Since you have a million physical resources, satisfying the physical requirement for **Ready for a Fight should not be difficult.

The key cards to get out are:

While in other uses of **Ready for a Fight, you want to try to be in Alter-Ego, but because of Hulk's health, you can stay in Hero form until you can set up the **Ready for a Fight.

Having one Strength and two The Power in All of Us, makes sure you can get your physical resources, and will pay for most of the basic cards when you are in Alter-Ego.

  • Deft Focus is not key, but helpful later. Unshakable depends on the scenario, but will protect from being stunned or confused, even though you can also deal with that with Dr. Sinclair.

If you wanted to change the cards with Dauntless and perhaps add Symbiote Suit.

Allies: I was looking for cheaper allies that can thwart and use the The Power in All of Us or Limitless Strength.

  • Ironheart card draw.

  • Lockjaw for hands in Alter-Ego which you have cards you can't use and a great thwarted.

  • Machine Man using the extra resources.

  • Moon Girl now that we have The Power in All of Us and Ingenuity, a powerful card.

  • Nick Fury doing what Nick does.

  • Professor X super helpful to allow you to get rid of bad side schemes and also allow you to stay in Alter-Ego until you get your board set up.

  • Spider-Man of the extra THW or ATK.

  • Vivian is key for thwarting and knocking out pesky minions or attachments for a turn.

Good luck and have fun.
