I love a hero with very little setup and Nova is that 100%. After you pay for Supernova Helmet, he's ready. I mean so ready. So, let's ready him so more.
Here are the highlights of this deck:

Ready him with What Doesn't Kill Me, Ever Vigilant and Anticipation.

Use Ms. Marvel to bring back Unleash Nova Force over and over. Use Med Team to heal Ms. Marvel. You'll have huge turns with Unleash Nova Force which will ready to ready his helmet to generate resources to buy more things like:

"Go for Champions!". All your allies are Champions. So, go for Champions will affect them all. With Unleash Nova Force in your hand from Ms. Marvel you'll have plenty of resources to pay for it.

Use Energy Barrier, Height Advantage and Hard Knocks to keep Nova from being hit. Use Pinpoint to shuffle Energy Barrier and Height Advantage back into the deck.

Moon Girl should be at least two cards drawn each time she comes out. You could replace her with Snowguard if you need more thwarting or damage.

After playing this more, I would switch out Symbiote Suit for Anticipation. I'd also take out an Energy Barrier for Dauntless. Also, switch out two The Power of Protection and The Power in All of Us for Energy, Genius, and Strength.
People always ask for different Protection deck that don't play like anything else. Well, here it is. Have fun!

May 21, 2022Ever Vigilant is simply the best aerial card and the synergy of readying Nova and then the Supernova Helmet is just too tempting. His main issue is that his base stats are low, and the only way in protection to address that is by using Symbiote Suit.

May 23, 2022This is pretty similar to my Nova deck. I always want to lean into what a hero can do best, in this case its getting ready for more helmet resources and healing Ms. Marvel for returning events. For both, I think protection is his best option then. My deck included Desperate Defence so that I could use my helmet to pay for it, but then ready myself and the helmet again. Then use Ms. Marvel to pull a copy back to always have one in hand although other options include replaying Ever Vigilant again too. I've also added Addrenaline Rush and Civic Duty to increase either ATK or THW when you get one of those turns you will ready 3 times. I find that you often have 1 extra resource left over for the helmet to play after you exhaust so I love 1 cost upgrades with Nova. Anyways, wanted to share my take on this Inigo... great deck here my friend. I wish this one would get more notice cause I think this is one of the better takes on Nova so far |

I have another deck (shocking, right) that's a Flow Like Water/Unflappable deck mixed Ever Vigilant and Symbiote Suit. That deck is unbelievable with Unleash Nova Force. You can use it on both hero and the villain turn to ready and draw cards. When there's enough minions out, and you can bring back Unleash Nova Force, he's actually better than Ghost Spider in defense. |
