What if Black Panther had Iron Man Armor?

This deck started as a gimmick deck. It's mainly designed around standard play. I just wanted to toss as many of the awesome protection upgrades into one deck for Black Panther turning him into an almost Iron Man Like playstyle that takes some time to ramp up and then becomes invincible in the late game constantly drawing Wakanda Forever! from a now much thinner deck.

Surprisingly it works very well and its super fun! In getting the deck set up, I'd say the goal is to get out as many upgrades as possible each turn on your first run through the deck. Its better to get out 2 one cost upgrades than to put out panther upgrades.

I would recommend pulling Tactical Genius with your set up ability 90% of the time as you want to get this out on turn one so that you can have control of the threat(the biggest weakness of protection decks) and ideally you want to mulligan for some double resources and The Golden City

Take advantage of your double resources and Vibranium to drop multiple 2 cost upgrades a turn or Quincarrier, Avengers Mansion and The Golden City. The deck also has lockjaw for those occasional turns where you draw a handful of resources with nothing to play.

Once your board starts to set up, your goal is to get one full block each turn so that you can take advantage of [Unflappable] and Hard to Ignore(/card/09020). You also have Endurance and Honorary Avenger in the deck so that you have a buffer to take damage that you can feed back with Vibranium Suit and keep above max health for Electrostatic Armor. Often it can be a good idea to see your Panther defense fora minion to guarantee you take no damage but you can also use Armored Vest, Desperate Defense and Energy Barrier to protect yourself as well.

For allies: Ironheart is for quick chump block or tough removal. Lockjaw for thwarting in a pinch or when you get a ton of excess resources in the late game after all your upgrades are down Nick Fury for chumping/thwarting and card draw Nova Treat Nova like another upgrade for minion management. I dont recommend playing him in the early game but once you're full set up and have the extra resources he's worth playing Shuri Is your most important ally. Keep in mind that she can grab ANY upgrade, not just Black Panther upgrades. Shes great to find whatever piece of kit you currently need.

When you're fully set up, you can start with a monstrous 9 card hand in alter ego and a deck of only half the usual size or less and you can stack the deck with Ancestral Knowledge before you use Avengers Mansion and The Golden City! At this point you'll just be playing Wakanda Forever 2 to 3 times a turn and have an invincible armor of reflective armor set up around Black Panther!

Because this deck takes some set up time, it can struggle a bit against heavy rush villains. This is why I also built my Black Panther V Ronan protection deck specifically designed to hit harder and faster. So if you want to play Black Panther protection, you can face off against any villain!
