Iron Man - Vigster Cardomatic Universe (VCU)

Note: I build all of my heroes so my decks are optimized only in the sense of the collection - hence the VCU tag. Welcome to the Vigster Cardomatic Universe!

Iron Man is Protection - but mostly to protect himself. He is hardly the meat shield that other protection heros claim to be. He is all about tech - getting as much as possible out quickly so that he can spend his time in hero form, safe in his own armor and dishing out tech damage at will...

He has a few allies, like War Machine, Nick Fury and Mockingbird - all pretty standard in a collection - and he has some really cool kit in his hero deck - so to augment that he has the Quincarrier and Avengers Mansion and he can buff up his hit points with Endurance.

Increasing hit points is very useful (especially with his Mark V Armor and 2 Rocket Boots) when coupled with Dauntless and when used with Fighting Fit. He can also heal with Second Wind

His armor can also be improved via the Armored Vest and Electrostatic Armor and further augmented with the Energy Barrier. All this defence enables a strong play of True Grit

Lastly - he can initiate an attack with First Hit or with Hard Knocks
