As the new cards released, As One!, Quick Strike, Smash the Problem and The Best Defense… are make aggression aspect much more powerful than before.
In the beginning, I tried to build an extremely high damages deck for these cards, such as She-Hulk or Hulk, but Thor has a great balance of the early game and late game.
Early Game --- Please don't worry about the early game because Thor had a powerful Hero form Response to draw cards, just set up Angela, support and upgrade cards whatever you got in hand. Be remember that please use the Attack event instant of basic attack after Brute Force entered to play.
Late Game --- Once you set up all of the Support and Upgrade Cards, there are 24 cards in your deck and your hands. Defender of the Nine Realms, "Bring It!", Avengers Mansion, Hall of Heroes are used to keep drawing the cards from the deck. You'll use up all of 24 cards in 2 rounds and make huge damage and threat removal.
2 Rounds in Late Game ---
-
Thor's Attack: 7 (Don't use basic attack)
-
Thor's Defend with The Best Defense…: 7
-
28 damages: 2x As One!]
-
21 damages: 3x Quick Strike
-
21 Threat Removal: 3x Smash the Problem

Dec 16, 2021Thank you for your comment! As the design of this deck, the main cards are As One!, Quick Strike, Smash the Problem and The Best Defense… in late game, Hammer Throw will be minor and not use often. Therefore, 49 Dmgs + 21 Threats Removal per 2Rs is made by the main cards, cheers. |
Feb 05, 2022I found myself in trouble with this deck, since exhausting Thor to defend, will render As One or Smash the Problem unusable. This is bad since the deck is basically built around them. And not defending is finicky, since you barely have allies. |
I like this idea but many of these cards require Thor to exhaust. Do you have a plan for readying him to make use of all these events? I think Quick Strike is the main one that doesn’t require an exhaust.
