The basic premise is to allow for effective thwarting while building up bigger and bigger attacks. The main resource in the deck is which will help Repulsor Blast deal up to 13 damage in one attack thanks to the Energy card, though the typical max is 11.

Early Game (while still building up tech pieces on alter-ego side): Quakehelps take out minions while Tony builds up tech Interrogation Room, Counterintelligence, Followed, Heroic Intuition, Plasma Pistol, and Under Surveillance can all be used as resources to play Pepper Potts, Quincarrier, Stark Tower, Arc Reactor, Mark V Armor, Mark V Helmet, Powered Gauntlets, Rocket Boots, Jessica Jones, and War Machine.

Mid Game (or any time): You draw a hand that is all the cards meant to be used as resources early game and you instead spend some to play others. In that case, prioritize playing cards that are most impactful and that you can only play one copy of, such as Interrogation Room, Counterintelligence, and Under Surveillance. This will remove one energy card from the deck which will make it easier to get to Repulsor Blast and tech cards moving forward.

Late Game (or when you're deck is ready enough to focus fire): Use One Way or Another to draw and play as many Repulsor Blast per turn as you can and burn through the villain's HP. With the Counterintelligence, Heroic Intuition, Arc Reactor, Jessica Jones, and Mark V Helmet. It would fairly straightforward to manage 10 to 15 threat per turn while also dealing 11 to 14 damage per turn with a single Repulsor Blast and two Powered Gauntlets. With One Way or Another, there would be high chances of playing two in a single turn, for 20-24 villain damage and 10-15 thwarting in a single turn.

Plasma Pistol is a tech card literally and figuratively. Not only does it help Iron Man get to his max hand size sooner, it also helps remove tough from a boss before blasting them with a big hit.
