Spider-Woman Status-Lock
This is just a variation of my Gamora Presses the Advantage deck.
It uses several cards to Stun...
...and Confuse the villain:
Then you stay in (or change to) the form which is locked down.
Brother Voodoo and Keep Up the Pressure help find the events.
While the deck should produce a pretty consistent status lock, you'll inevitably see times when the villain isn't Stunned OR Confused:
- Hidden Base lets you flip down to get a Tough
- and Ready for a Fight lets you flip back up to take that attack on your tough rather than letting the villain scheme.
Finesse costs more than Keen Instincts does for Gamora, but it's a little more versatile too, because it can be used to pay for any aspect card, not just ATTACK or THWART events.
Spider-Woman is such a perfect fit for PtA! In solo, this is just way too strong. I did a similar deck awhile back called Sixteen Ways to Stun-Day using the same aspects. She's a ton of fun like this!
