The name’s Drew…Jessica Drew.
Having been lucky enough to pick up a good few hero decks recently, with it comes the extra aspect cards. With that in mind, I thought I would revisit some previous decks to see how I could improve them.
And with that, onto Spider-Woman. I always wanted to really like the dual aspect option but could never make it stick. Either I wasn’t good enough at deck-building, or I was lacking some card library. Or both.
Aggression-Justice feels right for her, so let’s give it a bash.
The general theme here is to be able to ready her as much as possible.
Starting with Upgrades, Warrior of the Great Web is a must; if you’re going to ready her, let’s buff her up as much as we can. For this reason Combat Training and Heroic Intuition are in and Fluid Motion buffs her attacks too.
I’ve thrown in resource generators Martial Prowess, Deft Focus and Sense of Justice so along with Finesse, the hope is you’ll be able to play multiple allies / events every round, once built out.
As ever, Endurance and Crew Quarters for health.
I threw in as many sensible Web-Warrior allies as I could, including Spider-Man for readying Jess, plus Blade. He’s an Avenger, so we can use Earth's Mightiest Heroes to ready her.
Add in some decent Attack (Into the Fray and Melee) and Thwart (Multitasking) events and I think we’re just about there.
With a bit of luck, there’s a chance you can get her up to 4 ATK with a ready or two all in one round. Unlikely? Yes. Would it be fun? Absolutely.
