"Like I was saying. It isn't all just luck"
Sometimes you need a good crew that has your back, and we are so back! This time, we explore a concept that I've very much enjoyed with Rogue. Here we use what is effectively Domino's Team-Up card on another hero as Rogue becomes a member of the Posse!
The Crew and Their Creed
-
Atlas Bear + Domino are two core Posse members that pair well together. Effectively you can guarantee a card draw so long as you start with an event in your hand before activating Domino to swap that card to the top and then draw it through Atlas. You could also just ATK or THW as needed, of course if you don't need the cards. These are your priority Posse members to get on the board, especially Atlas Bear.
-
White Fox doesn't get into play free with this deck, unfortunately, but she's still a member of the Posse and is welcome to hit the board. She's not as high priority as the other members though.
-
Rounding out the Posse is Hope Summers! She's more of a part-timer though because she only joins when Rogue touches one of your Posse allies.
-
The Posse is a pretty sweet card with Rogue. When you touch Atlas Bear you can recur it with Superpower Adaptation! This means that in a given deck pass, once you are set up, you can see this card and potentially play it 4 times! That's a lot of readying and healing for the whole Posse!
The rest of the deck is built around setting up your crew and an engine board state to really dive into Rogue's events in the late game. The cheap Avengers are there as early blockers if you need, but can also power up early Strength In Numbers if you don't have the whole Posse out yet.
The ideal end game state is to have your resource generators and Triskelion in play with Atlas Bear, Domino, White Fox, and Hope Summers. You can also squeeze Stinger and one of the New Recruits in because they do not count against your ally limit. Now you've got a potential 6-card draw from Strength In Numbers and you've by far capped out on Band Together which will let you easily pay for Southern Cross and Goin' Rogue. When you use the Posse, you can ready up 4 of those allies which can feed into another potent 4-card draw from a second Strength In Numbers or you could just activate with everyone again if they are healthy.
I have tested this solo a few times against a handful of expert scenarios, but I've mostly played it in multiplayer games and it has been a ton of fun! It can feel a little clunky or slow at first, like many Rogue decks, but if you are able to build up a little, it can really pack a punch!
Let me know if you try this out and what you think!
Peace.

It's funny, because before this I had gone away from using 'trait shenanigans' with Rogue and just focused on her events and getting resources where I can, but this tries to fit both of those concepts in.

Love it! As you know, I was also toying around with this as well but couldn't figure out a good hook without diamondback. Using the posse to power strength in numbers and band together is a great idea!
