the point of this deck is recursion. get those spider friends in and out of play utilizing Make the Call, Across the Spider-Verse and Sneak Attack and capitalize on [Web of Life and Destiny](/card/27023. spider man peter parker and Get Ready can help you get them off the field faster. Clarity of Purpose is key to getting toon counters so there's 2 in the deck to make sure you get it ASAP. once you get that toon counter engine running you'll find it hard to know what to spend all that money on.
i have had allot of success with this deck and its allot of fun. my only problem has been that the friend i play with only uses spider man and when i play multiplayer i have to swap out peter parker for another web warrior. this dose hurt the deck but even without peter this deck still works well.
I highly recommend your friend try playing Captain America. His identity card kit are fairly similar to Spider Man's. If what he likes the most is that when the villain attacks he draws a card, he can play Drax, which would again leave you free to play the best version of your deck. Besides all that, the deck looks very cool and I would like to try it sometime with my friends.
