This deck was spawned from the idea of: What if I don't want to go into hero form?
I have had multiple games against various villains in various team compositions where I will not flip into hero form all game, and I will keep the threat down and still get damage chipped in. Nebula's alter-ego also has my favourite words to see on a Marvel Champions card on it: Draw 2 cards.
This deck uses a S.H.I.E.L.D core to operate, to allow mass threat control across the board, and uses many S.H.I.E.L.D allies to keep the board controlled. It also allows for Spycraft to be run as protection from the Shadow of the Past treachery. The support Sky-Destroyer allows you to chip in damage, even in alter ego form. Agent 13 Then lets you reuse this each turn is needed, or the Helicarrier or Surveillance Team. Speaking of surveillance team, Monica Chang lets you go search for it, and powers up any you have on board. And Chance Encounter let's you go search for Monica, allowing you to easily assemble all you supports.
One of the bonuses of being in alter ego all game is having access to essentially a triple resource, Meditation. Thanks to this, expensive allies and supports have never been so cheap. You also can play the role of medic with Crew Quarters because you'll likely never need it but your friends might! And while you have minions scheming against you, Quake will see to it that they won't be for long. Also, notably, Combat Ready can essentially be a free Draw 2 cards. just don't be afraid to mill your own deck, it'll reshuffle.
If you don't want to spend the whole game in alter-ego, or you've built up a board of all your techniques, go to hero form for one turn and absolutely explode. This is one of the times you might play One Way or Another. Otherwise, unfortunately, it's usually resource.
If this deck still doesn't look hilariously appealing to play, here is the best part. You actually love it when your obligation Inferiority Complex is flipped. You get to discard two techniques. That means you can stay in alter ego longer! Also, you don't really care too much about Shadow of the Past, the only annoying part is you can't play your Gamora, and activate your techniques while in alter-ego.
Solo this deck is a little more difficult. You need to do more turns in hero form, and get set up very quick. However, some villains you can stay in alter-ego all game and not worry (Sandman)
