LCG Discord Card Spotlight
Goal to build a deck that features the current spotlit card: Problem Solvers
Expected line of thought:
- Pick an Avenger or Guardian hero.
- Insert Allies of the other group with 2+ THW.
- Possibly play a multi-aspect hero: Spider-Woman (Justice/Leadership), Adam Warlock (Pool, Justice, Aggression, Leadership), or Gamora (Leadership using her ability to get Problem Solvers)
Forget all that... lets just do it with Cable. Apart from Adam Warlock he is the only hero who isn't restricted on Player Side Schemes and he gets the most out of completing them.
GAME PLAN:
ALL THE SIDE SCHEMES
The goal is to get as many Side Schemes that you can handle out. Professor can assist with retrieving Player Side Schemes. One Way or Another fishes the Side Schemes from the deck.
Guardian + Avenger
You will want to get down at least 1 Guardian and 1 Avenger Ally. For solo, you really only care about 3 total THW worth, unless some of the side schemes have a lot of threat. For Multi-player, you want to get to the full 4 THW you can achieve.
Ally Specifics not related to Problem Solvers
- Jessica Jones is the only ally that can't activate Problem Solvers. If you get enough Side Schemes out she can solo clear almost any side scheme you need. She is great for bad side-schemes pulled from One Way or Another.
- Quasar is there to ping off of Technovirus Purge, Additional threat from Multi-Player, and a decent attacker.
- Quake is there to be a cheap ATK and block. In a bind she can get you to 3 THW for Problem Solvers.
Other Notes
Deck is straight forward but here are some other small items:
- Don't play Plasma Rifle until you go off. Its not worth playing until you get a bunch of Side Schemes in the Victory display anyway and it's the only target for Lock and Load.
- Be sure to save an ally slot for Call for Backup triggering or have an ally you don't care about.
- You have 4 each of Guardians/Avengers. Don't worry if you have to block with one.
ALTERNATE CONSIDERATIONS:
Build Support - Ideally, you want Graymalkin and Professor out to help you set up. There wasn't room for any more Supports in the build to justify Build Support.
Specialized Training - For solo, this doesn't get cleared by Problem Solvers without help and if you've pulled off the big turn you're probably winning anyway. For multi-player, this could be worth swapping into the deck.
Other Aspect Player Side Schemes - The effects didn't were situationally effective. Stuck with the side schemes you can control.
