Vision has one goal in mind. He hopes for a better future, and he is willing to put in the work to help make it that way.

Vision starts out with some impressive thwarting capabilities with his core set of cards, using Solar Beam to remove 5 threat, or Just Passing Through to ignore crisis and patrol, and I thought he could easily become excellent at threat removal. Justice seemed like a good pairing since he can't attack or defend while in Intangible form, but he can always thwart.

Lay Down the Law easily earns the most bang for your buck when it comes to thwarting. Unfortunately it has a very specific criteria for when it can be used. Luckily for Vision, he can change mass form every turn, giving him the ability to trigger it without concern.

Making an Entrance is another card that is pretty good, but it requires your hero to be able to make a basic thwart action. Vision will often be ready for this since he can't block while Intangible, but if he is exhausted he can always Reboot, or change forms and be Ready to Rumble. With Heroic Intuition active as well, Vision will be thwarting for 5 as a basic action, making it fairly likely that he can heal from Making an Entrance's ability as well.

Vision is a special hero because he gets to draw a card when he changes to dense form. This means he can get the extra draw power that most characters get from changing to their alter-ego while remaining in hero form. Because of this, there is no reason to flip to alter-ego, except to heal, and thanks to Making an Entrance and Reboot, in addition to the fact that all attacks are reduced by 2 while Intangible, healing is not often necessary.

One of the things that I found with this deck is that there isn't much setup required for him to work smoothly. The only reason you would need to mulligan would be to try and get one of his resource cards, like Solar Gem or Sense of Justice, or even Deft Focus, but they are certainly not required. It is not uncommon to be able to clear 7 or 8 threat on the first turn without anything setup.

This deck focuses on threat removal, but using Density Control, it is easy to deal damage when you need to as well. Superdense Strike and Solar Beam are very good at dealing damage, so there wasn't much need for more.

I hope you enjoy using Vision to thwart schemes, and make the world a better place.
