  • I love Gamora. I had been trying for the last few weeks to make a perfect Gamora deck with Mass Attack. I made one for each aspect. I even made decks based around All for One. They were all very good, but were missing something. Then that brilliant Hawkeye Brute Force deck came out, and I knew I had to make one. Many thanks to those deck makers before me!

  • Since we all know these decks by now, the key difference here is Gamora can have an Aggression deck while dabbling in Mass Attack, Counter-Punch and Concussive Blow. The latter is there to make it easier to stay alive and keep your allies around.

  • Ideally, you'll want to use The Best Defense… in conjunction with Counter-Punch.

  • Remember that Nebula can pull Mass Attack or whatever thwart/attack event from your deck.

  • Like any Gamora deck, this one can start from turn one. You don't need to hold onto any particular Ally. Let them block for you while you get your set up cards in play. Then go for big damage once your board is set. Have fun!

man, i was thinking about doing some of these combos in Spider-Woman but hadn't realised that Gamora can do it all! someone else was telling me recently how she's a really decent target for Brute Force because you can simply use her solid 2 THW for the most part. really nice deck!

did you not find much success with Smash the Problem and Quick Strike?

@dr00 Thanks! A lot of credit goes to the rest of the deck makers for coming up with this idea. I was stumped before the Brute Force idea came around. Haha.

With Gamora, especially in solo, I find the thwart done with attack events and her hero power is enough to keep things in check. I don't think you really need the extra damage from Quick Strike, but that could always switch places with Counter-Punch. The thing I did miss was Drop Kick. If I were to add cards to this deck, I'd start there.

Loving how all the Brute Force decks are coming out now even though this one doesn’t even Quick Strike.

Love the Mass Attack idea. Been looking at it from Spider Woman, but I think this could be more consistent.
