This one is an auto include for me on SP//DR. Being able to ready one of her interface upgrades, particularly Host Spider to ready her up is great. Then I draw a card since it was a tech upgrade. At that point I either attack for 2, let Otto die and draw another card from Web of Life and Destiny making him a free 2 damage and a ready, or I thwart for 1 and chump block before drawing that card as he is defeated on the villain's turn.
Note: Host Spider is not a Tech Upgrade. (Neither is SP//dr.)

Even with Miles or Peter he gives you tempo. Use Web-Shooter and a card to get him out, then ready the shooter and get a card back. And if WoLaD or Warrior of the Great Web are in play, you get a bit more tempo. I have yet to play this to see if it's worthwile or not, though.
