Playing around with cards when I realized an Enraged Warlock can attack for 3 damage every turn as long as you can pay him 1 resource. Of course, in solo (my most common mode of play; plus I generally build all my decks to be self-sufficient) this can only happen with Spider-Woman combining the Aggression and Protection Aspects. Conveniently, she also has Finesse, which can feed Warlock!
I added a few other Allies who are decent with Enraged: Brawn (3 Attack + 1 Thwart x2 = 8 total damage/thwart, the same as he would do normally over 4 turns); Luke Cage (who, like Brawn, can swing twice and still stick around, plus his native Tough can even absorb another Enraged attack); and Cosmo (I don't have GMW yet, but he can avoid all consequential damage including Enraged). Another convenience: Jessica Drew lets you look at the top card of any deck, giving her dog pal a guarantee!
Instead of blocking with our Allies when they're on their final point of health, the plan is to keep them around as long as possible with Med Teams and First Aid. Spider-Woman's signature Ally, Captain Marvel, happens to love those cards. Boot Camp gives us up to 13 damage/turn with enraged Allies alone (14 if you Enrage Captain Marvel, but she's better off without it).
The rest of the deck is focused around the fact that Spider-Woman will likely be doing most of the defending since you want to keep your Allies alive and hitting hard. Endurance gives her a bigger health buffer. Avengers Mansion is just to increase your hand size and hopefully the number of different Aspects you can play each turn. Press the Advantage combos with Pheromones and is a cheap Aspect card for her ability. Counter-Punch is also cheap and lets you get in on some of the damage even as you defend.
Enraged is an underused and overlooked card (with good reason), but I think it finally has some support. This deck was just off the top of my head, but I believe it's unique and hope it's fun. Looking forward to giving it a try, and let me know if you do!
