Hawkeye doesn't need to be the strongest Avenger. He just needs the right arrow for the job.
This deck keeps Clint at a very respectable 5 ATK without wasting turns trying to build him into something he isn't. Combat Training and Expert Marksman provide the foundation, while his Bow and Quiver keep his signature arsenal running.
Aggressive Stance is the key addition. When Hawkeye engages a minion, it searches the deck for an ATTACK event, allowing Clint to find the tool he needs instead of simply drawing into it.
His high ATK is then used for more than basic attacks. Quick Strike turns it into direct damage, Smash the Problem turns it into threat removal, and The Best Defense... lets Clint use his offensive strength to survive. Just imagine that they are special arrows.
Meanwhile, Hawkeye's arrows provide the specialized ammunition: stun, confuse, area damage, piercing damage or whatever the situation calls for.
The goal isn't to spend half the game building an 8 ATK Hawkeye.
Get to 5. Grab the right arrow. Take the shot.
