With J. Jonah Jameson, Get the Scoop, and Wallcrawl; Silk simply annihilates side schemes. Especially since Get the Scoop is recurrable and always 4 threat at any player count, she can consistently trigger effects that require clearing schemes. So this deck is just full of cards that can capitalize on that
The Winning Hand recently did an episode on Chance Encounter, which motivated me to finally publish this deck I've been playing around with for a while. It also got me thinking about the card a lot more. It's one of my favorite cards in the game, because it helps you get the allies that you want, when you want them. Since you can leave the side scheme out for a while and trigger it when you are ready, this makes harder to play allies hit the table more often.
So that's what I've been doing with this deck! Swapping in and out different allies that I wanna try. Let me ask you this, have you ever even played this Captain Britain ally? Did you forget he was even in the game???? I know I did, and you know what? He's been putting in some work in this deck!
The Stunned and Confused podcast also just did their "Playstyle Pugilist" episode where they talked about the 3 different player types, and also the different playstyles in the game. They mentioned something they called "Experimental playstyle" and I realized that was exactly what I was doing with this deck!
The allies you use here are not set in stone, you can pick any 3 (or more than 3 if you are feeling spicy!) I chose 4 variations: based on the 3 player types, and experimental.
Experimental:
This is the version I'm posting here, but with experimental you should just find 3 allies that you've never played before, or want to try again and throw them in!
Spike:
The Spike player simply just wants to win. So we are just going with the best allies we can here. Recurring Nick Fury with Chance Encounter is an overused strategy, but its overused for a reason! Vivian is underrated but equally powerful!
Johnny:
Johnny wants to do cool, unique combos. Jessica Jones will make the Johnny players happy trying to stack up a bunch of side schemes in play, which Silk can manipulate by recurring them into play with #Eidetic Memory. Manifold recursion with chance encounter is neat, and its an easy way to loop Get the Scoop. The new Scarlet Witch has a bit of a synergy with Silk since even if you get a treachery, she can tuck it after it resolves!
Timmy:
Timmy just wants to do big flashy things. Not much is flashier than throwing down a Justice Peter Parker Spiderman in multiplayer and clearing 20 threat from the main! Sentry is just a big beafy ally who puts in some serious work, and Quasar can clear a lot of threat with enough schemes out.
Conclusion
There's a lot of room here for variation. In solo, drop a Skilled Investigator or 2 for One Way or Another. You can also swap out the Waylay for Turn the Tide, and Multitasking for Clear the Area. It just comes down to player count and your personal playstyle how you want to build it.

May 27, 2026Love seeing Captain Britain! He's actually one of my favourite Justice allies to play as I tend to always play One Way or Another in solo so he mostly clears them on his own :D He's also super useful to deal with minions which Justice usually struggle with a little more than other aspects. |
Silk chance encounter is so much fun with the built in PSS. Looks great!
