If I was smarter I'd come up with an acronym for DEFENDERS, but that's the basic theme of the deck -- NYC-based street level heroes working for Maria Hill.

Since her hero ability gives all allies she controls the S.H.I.E.L.D. trait, we're going to use that to keep our allies alive using Field Agent. With them engaged in active operations for so long, we're going to add an extra ally slot with The Triskelion and get these pricy allies into play with the The Circe.

If you don't have a protection player, perhaps add The Pericles instead of the Triskelion.
