It's just a Winter Soldier deck I'm bringing to Con of Heroes '26. There's not much changed from Jedi Soldier by Andy R, but I dropped a few cards to add a few different ones.
- Cybernetic Arm is (quite obviously) the first priority, but also is pretty hard to miss turn 1.
- Beyond that, Healing Factor and Stick-To-Itiveness and Winter Rifle are great to have down in the first deck pass. Try to flex those doubles/triples.
- secondary priority are Winter Mask and Laser Swords (need Side Holster first). If you can get Helicarrier or Avengers Mansion using doubles, they're nice to have.
- Black Widow is nice to play and combo into Winter, Widow, Soldier, Spy (tutoring it from your discard pile if needed), but try to get her back in before the shuffle, because her tutor is the most interesting thing about Natasha in this deck.
- Having a ready with Stick-To-Itiveness means you can almost always attack with the Winter Rifle. This gives us a pretty consistent use case for Directed Force.
- Ready and confuse enemies using Silent Infiltration, then murder some more! Recur it when you can with Practiced Plan, though this combo is often more "fun" than "necessary". You'll more often be spending your resources on attack events.
- On the second deck pass, aim to have 2-3 'Pool allies on the board to boost up the Laser Swords. Say no to gamer greed by finding inner peace and contentment with +3 attack! Negate the negative effects of the Acceleration icons by killing things with your Laser-Fists!
- One of the best things about Bucky in 'Pool is the Crisis of Infinite Deadpools provides opportunities rather than hindrances. Dreadpool ensures that you always have a minion to kill for thwarting (and if you have Metal Punch +/- Directed Force, so much the better). Once you steal Anti-Regeneration Ray, you can kill him for good and keep the +1 attack and the ability to blank powers!
I'll be bringing this deck to CoH '26 along with these others:
- Justice Like Lightning - Quicksilver Justice
- Switchboard Domino - Domino Leadership
