The Marvels

This is a theme deck to get the Marvels--Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel, and Spectrum--into a deck with Cameo. Use Sidekick and United We Stand to keep them alive, and recur your powerful signature events to your hand.

Cameo is for Ms. Marvel!

Not only does the theme work to get Ms. Marvel into play, but she has incredible synergy with Spectrum, allowing her to do more of what she wants to do: Play her incredibly strong events. Primarily that will be Spectrum's own events, which are very strong. Usually you will flip with them the first time you play them, and then get the bonus kicker the second time for cards like Photon Speed and Gamma Blast.

Using the trio of superheroines, you will be able to manage a lot of different situations flexibly. United We Stand keeps them (and you) alive. Make the Call can grab anyone who gets lost, or help you deal with resource-saturated hands.

Call for Backup and Evaluate Threat can help grab things you need; Evaluate Threat will get you a Helicarrier, Quincarrier, Avengers Mansion, or any of your allies, since they all have either Avengers or S.H.I.E.L.D. as traits.

Side-by-Side can go really crazy here, allowing you to ready up and use your very powerful basic activations, and then play events multiple times per round, or hold them to play them again next round.

We have a lot of resource generators--this is to play her signature events repeatedly. With two signature resource generators, Quincarrier, Helicarrier, Clarity of Purpose, and Avengers Mansion, you have lots to pay for. All of Spectrum's cards (except for Blue Marvel have the Superpower trait, so Deft Focus is another great inclusion. With all of your resources in play, you can play Gamma Blast twice a round without any cards from hand!

If you can't play them all, that's okay--you will still have lots of money. Don't forget, Clarity of Purpose can be played on other players, and Helicarrier and Avengers Mansion can also be shared in multiplayer.

Don't sleep on United We Stand, which can heal your hero or any of your allies. Keeping Ms. Marvel around is key, but once Captain Marvel is in play she is really strong as well. It's a card I am always looking for, and if you need more healing you can recur it with Ms. Marvel's ability.
