This deck started as a simple concept: Use Pool's unique resources to pay for big allies to protect Rocket and ensure he gets to keep using Pool resources. Get big allies, get big weapons, and use Rocket's hero and AE traits to get big card draw. You've probably seen Pool decks like this before, but Rocket has some fun tricks.

  • Salvage effectively gives Rocket some free card draw from Rock, Paper, Scissors. First, the card's wild resource lets him draw any card from the top of his deck, as long as the Rocket player has Salvage in their hand. Second, he can use Salvage to pay for another card and then choose a tech card from his discard pile to place on top of his deck. The player can then use that knowledge to pick a card that will let them draw the newly placed tech card.

  • C.I.T.T. has some fun synergies with the deck. All the extra pool resources means you'll likely have some leftover to trigger a re-ready, and you can get a second re-ready with Stick-To-Itiveness. Get the most out of your extra readies with Adrenaline Rush for some burst-y late game damage, or use them to hit key overkill damage thresholds for more card draw.

  • Rocket's Genius trait gives him access to Ingenuity and Moon Girl, for more resources and card draw.

  • The re-ready strategy is why I don't have Tic-Tac-Toe, Blackout, or Machine Man in this deck. They're very strong cards, but I wanted to lean into Rocket's traits with cards benefiting the Guardians and enabling overkill damage.

  • Helicarrier is mostly there to help smooth out the first deck pass (chiefly, get Avengers Mansion onto the board while still leaving the player some resources in play) and it's there to chump block for Mansion and C.I.T.T late game in case the encounter deck deals out a Caught Off Guard. Keep that card draw flowing and keep those re-readies available to close out the late game!

I hope you enjoy this very silly deck!
