AN EARNEST DESIRE OF GREY

We are putting the power of the grey cards on full display in this list right here. Grant Ward is an ally that piqued my interest when he was first revealed. I think Venom makes a good home for him as Symbiotic Bond can be used to keep him in play for maximum usage. He is also Spy traited which therefore allows us to run Espionage which is Bestpionage. We also have Nick Fury and Mockingbird as our other Spy traited allies. The rest of our allies are Guardians to make good use of Knowhere.

Multitalented is another versatile grey card that Venom can take full advantage of, on a pretty consistent basis - again in thanks to Symbiotic Bond, and I think is a very thematic choice for a hero whose kit is designed to be highly adaptable. The healing from it and First Aid are particularly notable for more usage out of Symbiotic Bond. First Aid can also be used to keep Gamora in play so she can draw us events round after round.

Face the Past is a card that does a lot for Venom. Apart from the obvious printed effects, it turns Shadow of the Past and Struggle for Control into Surges that can trigger Espionage. Beyond this, it also weakens Shadow of the Past as putting Klyntar Frenzy into play without the Enraged Symbiote cards, is much weaker and easier to get off the table.
