Storm's Astonishing X-Men

This is just a very solid Leadership X-Men deck. Versatile and fun. I built it to celebrate finally getting the Magneto hero pack (yay!). I tested this list against a variety of Expert villains in solo and it performed really, really well. Definitely a powerhouse.

• Thunderstorm is absolutely incredible for the ally swarm strategy - this is the main reason why I picked Storm for this deck. Well, that and the fact that I love her as a character.

• Clear Skies is also extremely strong, not just for the card draw but also to nullify any Stun and Confuse effects the scenario may throw at you. It's usually a good idea to have Clear Skies out during the villain phase whenever possible, but you can also switch to it later and get rid of any statuses. Just be careful not to help out the villain after confusing them with Professor X...

• The Basic side schemes are here to help get your key upgrades and supports into play more consistently while also thinning your deck. I recommend prioritizing clearing these side schemes as soon as possible to build out faster. Get Uncanny X-Men and Storm's Cape first, then Utopia, then whatever else.

• With Cyclops, Thunderstorm, various ways of readying and Lightning Bolt, Storm is capable of dealing insane burst damage to close out games.

• You have a whole toolbox of X-Men with versatile abilities at your disposal. Grab whoever is the best for a given situation with Call for Backup and then recur them with Pixie. When in doubt, just get Beast, he's super good.

• Storm has great damage and okay thwarting, but she can struggle with recovering from bigger attacks. She also does not get much from being in Alter Ego. So we have Endurance and Triage to increase her survivability. Gambit can also help you flip down more safely when you are forced to recover.

• Legion is just a ton of fun, especially with the Uncanny X-Men buffs. The deck has zero printed Wild resources so you will always get something from his effect.
