This deck was originally created to do a two-handed expert sinister motives campaign. P. Porker was fighting alongside SP//DR. Things where going well, until Venom Goblin broke them both. So, this deck might not be the strongest suit for our piggy, it's still a lot of fun. Rise of red Skull expert was easily beaten, Red Skull only took 40 minutes (most of my two-handed games take somewhere around 80-90 minutes), wich shows me these decks work well.

The goal was to get a few damage every player turn, so I could use counters as resources or to use them to get ready again. To accomplish this, SP//DR was playing Clarity of Purpose. This card makes this deck so much better.

So what about this deck? There is only one must play upgrade, Organic Webbing. For the cost of one counter, you get to ready Spider-Ham, and thwart, attack or defend again. This deck lacks cards that gives you a defense bonus. You want to take that damage. Cartoon Physics reduces a great deal of it, and Energy Barrier takes the edge of a nasty attack. But more important, Energy Barrier is a great engine for you Repurpose. Again, you're ready, with a stat boost. Just pick what you need at that moment.

Since you are willing to take damage, it would be nice is we can heal while in hero form, so we can take more damage and get those counters coming in. What Doesn't Kill Me does a great job there. Heal yourself, and be ready again. The counters on Spider-Ham make sure you've got your fist resource.

Speaking of getting counters, we have Thwip Thwip! in out deck. You take one damage, so you get another counter, and as a bonus, you get to stun two enemies. Great while playing multiplayer. They can have a stunned villain, and you get an attack, and another counter.

Next to awesome protection cards this deck holds a few allies. Spider-Ham is the one taking the damage, so putting in an ally and making good use out of it, makes it worth the cost. Spider-Man Noir could stay in the game, making sure nasty encounter cards don't shuffle back into the deck. The other spiders also have great abilities, worth to play.

Honestly, I didn't make much use out of ready for a fight. I would suggest you swap them for something else. Maybe Ever Vigilant is a good one to swap into the deck. Giving you even more ways to ready yourself. Just keep in mind, these cards are worthless until you play Organic Webbing.
