Surprise it's a minion deck!
Why Ham? Both Blood Rage and Battle Fury give him toon counters, who doesn't love free money?!
The strategy here is to spend early game getting set up with upgrades to boost Ham's attack. Then use self damage to generate resources and continually defeat minions. Toughs from allies and Cartoon Physics keep us alive as well as using confuses to flip down and heal (for 7!) with Down Time which also generates toon counters.
With Combat Training, Huge Wooden Hammer, Combat Specialist from Specialized Training and "Now I'm Mad" we can get him up to 5 base.
Hand Cannon and the hammer can drive that up to 9 with overkill.
Add in Organic Webbing to have another ready each turn plus becoming a 3 thwart hero.
Turns can look like this, thwart for 3 then use Spoiling for a Fight to ready and get a minion. Overkill the minion to deal some damage to the villain and use blood rage to draw a card as well as generate a toon counter.
Use that toon counter to pay for the ready from Webbing and either attack again, thwart or flip down to heal.
Flips down generate toon counters from the The Daily Beagle, recovering and Hall of Heroes can draw you 3 cards which sets up some really absurd turns.
It's not uncommon to have 5 or more toon counters at a time giving you the flexibility to continually play allies, events and use them for his upgrades.
Lock and Load helps find hand cannon or the Hammer.
Throg and Thor bring toughs to absorb a hit keeping Ham alive.
Psylocke brings confuses to pair with our Swinging Web Pig.
This deck deals out a ton of damage and can thwart extremely well due to the readies. It's been extremely effective in both solo and 2 player games.
I'd love to hear any feedback or experiences with it!
The upcoming Aggressive Conditioning card from Tigras pack could replace endurance and add some more attack power to him.
Looks like fin!
