Trying out some ideas for Spidey with the limited cards I have. I've loved playing him in Justice ever since my first Core Set game, so I wanted to give that a go again.

This deck formula is the one I like the most: Control, Build Up, and deal big instances of damage when you're ready.

This deck allows you to flip to Alter-Ego almost every turn (thanks to Sonic Rifle, Professor X, and Concussive Blow), skyrocketing Peter’s already strong economy. With all the resource generators (Avengers Mansion, Helicarrier, Quincarrier, Ingenuity, Peter’s Scientist ability, and Web-Shooter), you can easily afford expensive allies like Nick Fury, Gambit, and events like Swinging Web Kick and Concussive Blow.

You can take attacks to the face like a masochist (and trigger Spider-Sense in the process), knowing Aunt May will patch you up back home — while the Villain wonders where the hell you disappeared to.

So far, I’ve played Expert Mutagen Formula a few times and it’s been pretty fun. I basically never block, go down to 1 HP, and get back to full health on the very next turn to hit him back.

Note: I don’t have Psylocke, Ironheart, or Venom. A friend of mine owns them and gave me some of the cards, which is why I didn’t include Cypher and the like.

Spider-Man is so fun. All those confuse to flip down is great idea. Down the line when you get other packs, Leo Fitz feels good with Spidey cause he can tutor the web-shooters from the deck. You can effectively have the web-shooters all game.
