More Cowbell!!! Or in this case, boosting Cable's base stats from Adam Warlock's We're here to PUMP you up deck. Since Cable's base stat total is 9 with Technovirus Purge, you could Go All Out or Push Ahead for 14-19 with Adam Warlock's personal trainer techniques.
First, get Technovirus Purge in the victory display as early as possible. Next focus is to get Graymalkin in play so you have the requirement Go All Out needs. Don't have Graymalkin in play yet, half the deck has either or to meet the requirement. Playing either event even for 9 is still good value.
With the higher stats, clearing side schemes will be faster, and enemies defeated in fewer turns.
Try to get Synch out early to add to your stats on every activation. Hopefully Children of the Atom can be out before Professor X so you can be readied; or use Ready to Rumble when it helps the most. Deft Focus is listed to keep more resources in your hand.
