If you want to go for a Multiplayer Justice Build that would ensure your Team doesn't have to be afraid of any schemes being too close to the tipping point, then Venom is your hero.
Venom can thwart big, lean on his Guardian allies, heal himself, confuse enemies, and even deal considerable damage if necessary (but I would advise to focus on thwarting with this deck, you can always go Venom Agression Build if damage is needed).
This deck has 40 cards. Ideally you want to go through the entire deck very quickly and do it in a smart way. By the time you have passed through your deck once, you'll be ready for anything. But by the time you pass through the Deck 2 times, you'll be very much invincible. Let's break down the tactic in general:
- Weaponize Venom.
- Complete his kit.
- Utilize his Guardian allies.
- Deliver pain (leaning heavily on Venom's events and just unleashing the full power of his kit)
1. Weaponize Venom
First step might seem easy, but you've got to be mindful right at the start. During the Mulligan always keep in mind that your Flash Thompson setup ability triggers immediately after the Mulligan. You have 3 weapons in your Deck so you maybe don't want to be too greedy in the Mulligan. For example if you have 2 weapons already in the first 6 cards, maybe skip Mulligan or you risk discarding your entire Deck. On the other hand if you have 0 weapons, then be greedy. After setup no matter what happened, you want to hard prioritize putting all 3 of your weapons in the game as fast as possible. Don't forget to use your Venom ability to generate a wild resource if needed. This has to be prioritized over anything else.
2. Complete his kit
Other than his weapons, Venom also has other great upgrade and support cards at his disposal. As a second priority, you want to push for playing them as well. Especially:
as these cards will help you draw more cards. Try to also play other upgrades and supports as much as your enemy will allow. You do have to thwart a bit for the Team along the way of course, so keep some of the other supports and upgrades for the 2nd pass through your Deck.
3. Utilize his Guardian allies
Depending on the gamestate you might want to include a Guardian ally here and there to help you out a bit on your 1st pass through your Deck if possible. If you start feeling like you're losing health and Guardian allies can't help you for whatever reason, then prioritize playing Project Rebirth 2.0 and switch to alter-ego to recover. Those two things should bring back 7 health when put together.
But on your 2nd pass through the Deck you should already have the fantastic Knowhere in place so you should be unleashing your Guardian allies to reap the full benefits.
4. Deliver pain
Depending on the gamestate you may also start with some serious thwarting on your 1st pass through the Deck. But on your 2nd pass through, you should have your weapons up and running, along with some other upgrades and supports so by all means start playing your Run and Gun every time. Also feel free to go for the Symbiote Suit, as that card should really transform you into the Venom that you were meant to be. At that point start having fun with Venom's events and unleash the full might of his entire arsenal.
