Falcon Pawnch [CoH '25]

Y’all knew it was coming. A face punching deck featuring Earth's Mightiest Heroes well Hero. Hawkeye!

I still find my favorite hero to be very fun - even if more modern designs have overshadowed him. I’ve found when I play with someone at the con they always request I play Hawkeye so I thought I’d bring my favorite this year.

Not many new updates in my Hawkeye Aggression deck but a few new things from last Con.

I’ve chosen to add a copy of Locked and Loaded and Godslayer to the deck. Godslayer I’ve had in before but always fought for deck space with Mean Swing to fix that we’ve brought Pulse Grenade a non-Restricted weapon that we can mean swing away with.

I’ve also added a bit of survivability to my deck. In previous years I would run Professor X or Down Time and waste a lot of Hawkeye time in Clint Barton form.

Not this year.

My Hawkeye games will be aggressive and fast. I’ll use Moment of Triumph and The Best Defense… to stay in hero form more often and rely on my team less while letting them use up the stuns and confuses I dish out with arrows.

I’ve been doing this a lot more in local play and The Best Defense… has been pretty clutch allowing me to defend for 4 with Combat training and still fire an arrow in the next round. If you see me at the con please make sure we get a game in and if you ask I’ll definitely run this deck one of my all time favorites.
