Slightly modified from my test deck.

Most of Magik's power is in her versatility and the benefits that the mystic cards have for her. All but one of those happen to be basic as well.

We are in aggression to boost her relatively low damage output, and for Hulk, who is her best ally for dealing damage, alongside Colossus for protection.

You will be cycling through you deck quite often and you have all of the tools to deal with any problem built in to your kit, and this means you have several cards here that you will either never play or never use and this creates a very unique playtyle and gives you room to replace any of these cards for something you prefer. Magic Attack and Skilled Strike are typically used as resources, or put on top of the deck for Hulk to discard (as an example, I played skilled strike one time and magic attack never during a playthrough of an expert Age of Apocalypse campaign). Sunfire is only played for the kicker because you do not want to be spending your resources on discarding attachments. Bloodgem is typically an activator for all your own cards with a wild on top of the deck, or is the perfect target to discard to a treachery.

Magik is hard to learn, mostly from sequencing and having to adjust plans from seeing what is on top of your deck, or all of the new cards from Spiritual Meditation, but she really does have everything you could ever want.

Basic tips: Try to use Limbo during the villain phase to put either Colossus or Magic Barrier to defend yourself and get an extra discount and be able to use your basic activation for attacking.
