"Hey! You're not authorized to suit up! We're under general lock down orders!"
"..."
"What is your problem soldier? Get with the program!"
[The helmet lowers over the soldier's face and an audible hiss can be heard as the suit pressurizes]
[Spoken through the suits' external speaker]:
"I am the program."
- Play Face the Past, bringing Beetle OR just draw Shadow of the Past (alternatively, ask D20 to do it for you) OR play Standard III. Just get her into play.
- Do the time warp again and again and again and again and again by not paying the (cos joke's on them, we're into that sh-) and be the best bug exterminator in the galaxy
Profit in a billion ways, but you've got:
- Angela and Looking for Trouble to find
minionsbeetles to squish - Chase Them Down cos those things move fast
- "Bring It!", Specialized Training, Hall of Heroes, and Blood Rage to draw cards to help you kill more beetles.
You Say Goodbye I Say Hello
So that's it, just, y'know, just killin' Beetles. Hey, did you know the band Beatles is a pun? Get it, beat as in like a drumbeat, and then they're actually spelled beetles. I definitely haven't had to go back and correct myself so many times in this write-up. Nope, not me. Anyway, the more you know~
- Also anyway, don't just kill beetles. Kill all sorts of stuff. Variety is the spice of life after all, and you get rewarded even more when you destroy everything everywhere all at once.
- Hand Cannon gives your basic attacks Overkill (a surprise tool which will help us later)
- Follow Through increases all excess damage by 1 (or 3 if you have all of them)
- Giant-sized Wasp lets you distribute damage from her basic attack as you se fit, even excess damage. With a base ATK of 2, and +2 from the Hand Cannon, you can distribute 2 damage to two different enemies (with overkill), that both increase by up to 3. So her basic attacks could defeat two minions and then overkill 8 to the villain. Stack more Hand Cannons for even morer overkill, and Specialized Training and/or Combat Training for even morerest overkilling.
- Giant Help isn't a great card in general, but it's really fun here, adding an easy 1 extra minion to the body count.
- Wasp Sting is very helpful for setting this up, and don't forget Follow Through helps Pinpoint Strike as well.
LIVE. DIE. REPEAT.
Go to Alter-Ego to heal up when you need to, but also to recharge those batteries.
-
Professor X and Psylocke provide some much needed confuse support to help you swap. Ideally let Professor set up confuse, chump an attack, flip, shuffle him back in. Psylocke can provide you with an extra flip at the start but is otherwise the same sequence.
-
Speaking of, use your G.I.R.L. power to shuffle in all those important pieces:
-
Angela will live her best life, die, and live it again, bringing back minion after minion each time. She can also (and should) chump block often so you can keep her cycling back into the deck. Looking for Trouble is unfortunately.
-
Aforementioned Professor X & Psylocke
-
Chase Them Down, Giant Help, Pinpoint Strike, and Wasp Sting
-
Genius $$$
-
Specialized Training, Crew Quarters, Hall of Heroes, Follow Through if you had to spend them while setting up or if you were Caught Off Guard
-
Crew Quarters is easy healing that doesn't use your basic action, so it's preferred over Down Time
Now get out there, and kill some bugs, soldier!

Nice! I've been liking Face the past with her too, but going all out and making it a minion slaying (squishing?) deck sounds awesome
