Children of the Atom (Warlock)

Children of the Atom has allowed for a lot of X-men/X-Force shenanigans and so many of us have been loving it. While it cannot make Adam Warlock an X-Men character, It can do some interesting things with an X-Factor character that was given the same name:

I know. Warlock is a terrible card. But this is the deck were Self becomes good. We just need to give Self Self's combat suit.

With Danger Room Training and Inspired attached, Warlock becomes a 3/3 that you can keep healing as needed. If you don't mind one more card in the deck, give Self a Sidearm and now Self is dealing 4 damage every turn.

But that isn't the only thing to do with Self. Self may not want to be a fighter:

Instead of attaching Danger Room Training, you can give Self Protective Training instead. Now with 6 HP, Self can fairly safely block each turn for you and heal back up. If you want to go this route, throw Reinforced Suit into the mix for extra safety.

But where would Self be without Self's Friends?

Cypher is a must include for comic flavor, and Adam Warlock makes it easy to confuse villains with all the access he has to the cards that make it possible!

Phoenix helps to ready Warlock so that you can get additional usage out of him. Command Team and Game Time help to the same effect (Utopia too if you don't mind playing one more card and swapping Iron Fist for something else).

Goldballs with an Attack Training attached can do 25 damage over 5 turns, and his discarding cards from the deck plays into Soul World quite nicely.

Since Pip the Troll can be played in front of teammates, you can still use him without deactivating Utopia's ally limit boost!

Bishop with a Protective Training attached will potentially get to attack for 6 twice.

Iron Fist and Psylocke provide lots of room for set up time.
