Wrath of God

If anyone loves the new protection cards from the Nightcrawler pack, it is Thor. With his small hand size, card draw is huge for him and pairing up his Hero ability with "Come Get Me, Bub!" and Defender of the Nine Realms keeps the cards coming during his turn, while Change of Fortune, Unflappable, and Under Control keep them coming on the villain's turn.

Since he will be needing to exhaust to defend to make use of Riposte, He will need all three Limitless Stamina cards to ready and lay the hammer down on his turn.

There are two copies of Change of Fortune to ensure it comes up quickly, since this deck has no way to search them out. You can drop one if you are willing to risk waiting.

The other upgrades and supports in the deck provide additional support to what this deck does well, which is to defend, lay out damage while doing so and draw cards as you pick off minions. What this deck does not do well is manage threat. This is fine in multiplayer but the deck would need some work to survive in true solo.
