Lean into Bobby's Strength

Although this by no means is a rush deck, the strategy here is certainly to attack and attack hard first and foremost...and then pick up the thwarting slack when you can.

Large Scale Attacks

Find Iceman's Ice Slide and use Skilled Strike for a whopping 5ATK.. then if you have Utopia and you bring in an ally, ready up Iceman and hit for another 3ATK...that's 2 x Frostbite upgrades on the enemy too, nullifying their attack.

I've got Surprise Move included and this was moreso to address any low-mid minions that may need clearing. The intent was to use it alongside Ice Slide and Skilled Strike giving Iceman 7ATK (more than enough to defeat a minion), however on top of all that there would need to be an upgrade attached. Apart from minions, I'd play this card late game to make a big 7ATK hit on the villain.

I've kept Surprise Move in this deck as it was in the deck I used for the playthrough against Expert Master Mold. Admittedly there are far better cards you may consider using Relentless Assault as a supplementary set of cards that can deal more damage.

Attachments = More Damage!

Marked has been added to this deck as an opportunity to spread the damage that Iceman can do. If for some reason the villain doesn't have Frostbite on then, then using Marked to gain overkill to a minion is a neat way to blast through them and still have a bit more from Arctic Attack or Take That! to hurt the villain. Similarly, Suppressing Fire can be used to maximise attack events and ensure you heal up too... Finally, with upgrade attachments on enemies, Iceman's Snow Clone allies become quite valuable with zero consequential damage ...just leave them on the board to keep attacking for as long as they can before you need them to chump block.

Threat Management

I've found Chill Out! quite effective in keeping threat in check. There's also +1THWT on Ice Slide but admittedly you don't want Iceman making basic thwarts when his value comes from his Freeze! Hero action. Allies such as Glob (with 2THWT) and Beak help keep the threat under control and arguably his most valuable card Frozen Solid stops the villain from scheming for one round, which means you have time to flip down, and potentially use the Alter-Ego action Cool-Off to shuffle your Chill Out! cards back into the deck.

Key Cards

You should always include Team-Building Exercise and Deft Focus in your deck, as the traits Ice and Superpower are rampant amongst Iceman's hero cards. As mentioned Frozen Solid is an amazingly powerful card so you'd want at least Team-Building Exercise or Power Belt out (or both!) to reduce it's cost. Utopia is always handy but proves even more so here as it allows Iceman to ready up and use his Freeze! action again, allowing him to place one more Frostbite on the villain...add to that a third Frostbite when Iceman defends, and you'll find Iceman quite a durable hero.

Definitely worth trying! Might try this 2 handed with a more thwart focused hero
