Jubilee is finally here and...
Another Uncanny X-Men deck...really?
Fine, fine. Let's make this a little explosive. Jubilee is an incredible user of the archetype and it loves her. She's rich on resources and this deck is rich on keeping her alive. To spice it up, we'll throw in a little Mutant Mayhem.
Hope Summers can grab all of your events when played from hand. All. She will be the one ally you do not want to chump block with, as she is the key piece to actually using Mutant Mayhem. You can get her with Call for Backup in a pinch, just remember her response doesn't go off that way.
Many X-Men allies have great enter play effects, but 3 in this deck have busted effects when played from hand, Beak, Pixie, and Shadowcat. Combine that with Hope? Hoo boy. Playing Mutant Mayhem could mean anything from picking your favorite Jubilee event + Up to 5 thwart removed from a scheme, a scheme's icons being ignored (great to pair with 'pool), or even another ally from discard. Oh, and two healthy allies on top of it all.
Can't use those allies? There's plenty of other enter play effects that are still phenomenal picks. For example, Hope grabs Grande Finale, Beast grabs Band Together. Hope grabs an event and Forge grabs you your missing support, ect.
On that topic, Band Together is perfect for Jubes as those wilds set up her events perfectly, and with the cheap allies flooding the board, just expect it generating 3
Give yourself Honorary X-Men and now you can go shopping without supervision as you can Utopia and clear Shopping Spree on your own in one turn
Clarity of Purpose is always amazing and obviously it's incredible for the character that wants different resources, but she doesn't have a healing factor...oh look! Her sidekick Wolverine! Give him Clarity of Purpose and now he is a bonus resource generator for three turns, or do some chunky damage, get a resource, flip down, and repeat.
If you want to run the standard UXM deck you can sub out the Mayhem and Multitalented for more Regroup, RR, or MTC as usual, but I wanted to steer a slightly away from the tried-and-true build and mix it up. That version is more like having a sparkler. Mix it up with some bottle rockets and M80's! Explosions!!

Jul 21, 2024Super cool deck here! Hope has been a mainstay in all of my Jubilee decks, and running her with Mutant Mayhem (and turning on Beak right away) is really cool! Didn't think of that Honorary line for Shopping Spree, but haven't really found Shopping Spree to be that good, and usually I'll just take her hero resource twice off Utopia instead, like its own mini-Uncanny. I've been running Mission Leader to capitalize on Beak spam and draw extra doubles. Doesn't work super well with Spree, but I kind of just leave it out all game anyways. Between Multi and Triage, she heals up Clarity damage pretty well, so the draw from Mission Leader helps with all the extra resources! Though, your inclusion of Regroup does something similar. I dig this and will have to reformulate my own deck with these ideas! |
Jul 21, 2024Why you said, shoping spree is a bonus ressource at game start? You have to.put it into play right ? |

Love this! Did you experiment at all with non X-Men or X-Force allies and giving them Honorary cards to be able to trigger Mutant Mayhem?
