Strange Support
I enjoy Dr. Strange, but sometimes, I get tired of spamming the invocation deck without a care about my teammates or the board. This deck series uses Strange's strengths to have a support role on the table using each aspect.
- Protection: The White Mage
- Leadership: Magically Enhanced @$$kicking
- Justice: See Your Doctor
Heal the Team
Dr. Strange makes a great white mage because of how he is able to use his invocation deck to get card draw and toughs.
Cast Protect (Toughs)
This deck will play slightly differently than a normal strange deck. Usually, you do two things with Strange: spam his invocation deck or combo Master of the Mystic Arts with Winds of Watoomb as much as possible.
Here, you get your resources so you can heal as many heroes and allies as possible. Use Master of the Mystic Arts on Seven Rings of Raggadorr to hand out toughs, then wait next turn so you can invoke Seven Rings of Raggadorr again and keep toughs coming.
This deck is meant for multiplayer so you might need to ask if anyone was planning on going to Alter-Ego, not to heal but to take advantage of Alter-Ego abilities and supports. That way you know who to skip on toughs in a 4 player game.
Use Muster Courage to hand out any toughs not covered or while you’re waiting to get to Seven Rings of Raggadorr.
Cast Curaga (Second Wind) or Cure (First Aid)
If anyone is caught without a tough, an ally to defend, or an attack with piercing, then Second Wind will heal that hero up. Your Leadership player will love having you use First Aid and Med Team to heal allies. Your Aggression and Justice players will love having The Night Nurse heal their stuns and confuses.
And you’ll still have your other invocations to help solve board state problems. Because of your invocation deck, you can take this deck solo pretty easily. It’s a protection archetype that we don’t see all that often, but it’s powerful and your friends will love you.
Everything you'd expect from a white mage.

Jan 10, 2024Yeah, that ruling definitely makes me a little sad, but I get it. This deck doesn’t rely on him as much as he’s a nice ping on damage and you can combo Astral Projection with him where Astral Projection lets you look at the encounter card so you know what to guess when you use Cosmo |
There is a new errata regarding Cosmo in 1.5 rule book. Cosmo can't use his interrupt on the Doctor Strange Invocation deck, only on the regular player deck and the encounter deck.
