Mixing X-men allies with the Pool Aspect! Just a splash by the Pool for Scott Summers.
Cyclops loves Distraction. It let's you leave minions there to pick at with your eye lasers, I mean optic blasts. Tic-Tac-Toe gives us limited healing on our allies, and Blackoutoffers a confuse on demand for when we need to flip over.
Beast works well with the Pool resources. Since we like to hide behind allies, we should always be near full health to maximize the value of the resources. You could add Healing Factor if you are worries about it.
The other allies can be selected and cut down based on preference. The Pool events encourage us to sacrifice them, so Pixie ans Cerebro can help is find more. Note that Pool Aspect doesn't have training. So no need for danger room, but also no Game Time.
This makes our allies more expendable so they come to the pool party for a bit, splash around some damage and thwart, and then bounce. Plot Convenience can be used to have an ally on call if you think their ability will be useful later.
