I steal, you smash ! (Undefeated on Expert) (UPDATE)

Hi everyone ! This is my homebrew Gambit deck undefeated on expert (True Solo) first try against Rhino/Klaw/Ultron, Osborn/Green Goblin, Wrecking Crew, Crossbone/Absorbing man/Taskmaster/Zola/Redskull and Kang.

But before, English is my second language, sorry for the mistakes :)

The goal of this deck is:

• Keeping Gambit on his alter-ego form most of the time to draw 6 cards per turn and build a massive board of X-Men Support like Manoir X or Salle des Dangers and X-men and other cards to thin your deck
• Thwart with his power ''Thief Extraordinaire'' (we can use this threes times per phase ! Continu readind you will see) and cards like Professeur X, Psylocke or Creole Charmer
• Finally equip a lot of allies with Attack Training to smash all enemies !

Gambit is propably one of the best x-men to stay in alter-ego, so we can use this advantage to use all support cards each turn, Also, have have access of a lot of double ressource cards so we can build a board faster.

Ah, and trust me, you will draw a lot of cards with this deck.

The allies:

We play a lot of allies because we want to optimise all the support Salle des Dangers with Attack training, Cerebro, Utopia, ...)

• Angel: Low cost
• Colossus: Toughness !
• Forge: Did you se all our support cards he can find ?! The answer is five ! He's also good to thwart.
• Longshot: Works really well with Remy Lebeau power ''Thief Extraordinaire''
• Magik: Nice minion removal
• Professeur X: I really need why is here ?
• Psylocke: So you can confuse the villain twice and attack him 5 times with 2 power with Attack Training ... YES ! She's also good to thwart.
• Rogue: Mostly free (except at the beginning) and help to thwart , wow !
• Feu du Soleil: Low cost ally with an amazing power. Hell yeah !
• Wolverine: This card is a-m-a-z-i-n-g with Attack Training !!!

Event:

Even if you want to stay at alter-ego, you will need to change to hero form to kill some threat with event and use Gambit power to use his card and reduce the cost of Rogue.

• Mutant Education: Use it to return Creole Charmer, Molecular Acceleration and Rogue.

Ressource:

• Le Pouvoir en Chacun de Nous: Did you see all the basic cards ?! This cards is good in your opening hand but also in late game with Colossus, Professeur X or Longshot.

Support:

The reason why a want to build this deck is because X-Men support are nuts and I want to build a deck around Salle des Dangers. The majority of X-Men support need to be in alter-ego and this is want we want.

• Manoir des Avengers: One of the best support in the game, with 6 double ressource in our deck, it's easy to put in play.
• Cerebro: Low cost , nice to draw card and is really rare than you fail to search with 10 allies.
• Salle des Dangers: THE CARD of this deck. The majoroty of your ally will have 3 attack power with Attack Training and will stay longer in the table with 2 hit points in bonus.
• The Thieves Guild: This is the card you want in your opening hand.
• Utopia: Awesome cards with 10 allies but you can use ''Thief Extraordinaire'' , go to hero form and untap Gambit to attack for 2 or better, if you have Honorary X-Men you can use ''Thief Extraordinaire'' or recover two time !
• Weapon X: Great card to draw and work well with Mutant Education.
• Manoir X: Wolverine like this card lol, but also Remy Lebeau and all thwarting characters

Updrade:

• Attack Training: OMG this card in this deck ! +2 hit point is significant and the majority of you ally will attack for 3. Wolverine love this card.
• X-Gene: Can be use with Creole Charmer !
• Membre Honoraire des X-Men: You need this card to play Longshot on alter-ego. Also, you can untap Remy Lebeau (Alter-Ego) with Utopia and Thwart 2 times because is not one per phase !!! But wait... if you play Professor X and another ally, you can use Utopia with your first ally to untap Remy Lebeau and use ''Thief Extraordinaire'' again and play Professor X to untap another time Remy and thwart another time !!!

Don't forget and be carefull:

• Magik power only word in hero form
• Late game, your deck will be thinner so use Mutant Education with Feu du Soleil
• Use attack event cards like ressource early game, but change to hero form late game to smash the villain with card like Royal Flush or Charged Card
• Try to change form to optimise your X-Men Support and don't be 2 turn in a row in hero form
• Sometime, you will use Professeur X to untap and ally because you already confuse the villain. Try to be on hero form to use him to defend.
• Is ok to use Rogue as a ressource early game. Annyway you will find her with Mutant Education, Cerebro and Weapon X
• Salle des Dangers can't combo with Utopia in hero form
• Molecular Acceleration, you gain the token only on hero form

Cards you can try but I personnaly don't like:

• Dust: At multiplayer this cards is awesome, but in Solo I Prefer Magik.
• X-Men Instruction: The card look good on paper but is bad. Use another Mutant Education if you want to try something similar.
• Le X-Jet: You already have a lot of ressources and this card work only in hero form. If you want something similar, use Helicarrier.
• Tornade, can be cool, but I prefer Longshot, but you can try her.
• If you don't like something in this deck, you add another Le Pouvoir en Chacun de Nous Thanks a lot for reading !
