I've been enjoying the She-Hulk series, and in honor of its conclusion, here is an X-Men focused She-Hulk deck!

The goal of this deck is to Voltron She-Hulk and as many 3+ ATK allies as possible while hitting huge Team Strikes! While this deck can solo, I highly recommend running it with a co-op partner. Partner deck suggestions at the bottom.

Why Shadowcat

The end game for this deck looks like:

Boot Camp and Uncanny X-Men (from our multiplayer partner) supports out

  • The upgrades are pretty interchangeable here, the aim being odd-numbered health to give double consequential allies another activation in a pinch. Max copies of Honorary X-Men are to ease the sequencing of getting Attack Training onto She-Hulk and Thor

  • She-Hulk can hit 13 ATK with Sidearm, but the ranged is usually better on Wolverine since he'll make the most basic attacks. Useful for popping a tough, which would otherwise shut Team Strike down. She-Hulk will be thwarting more early and should be able to deal with most things with a single attack, making ranged less mandatory. Team Strike itself also lets the allies dodge retaliate

  • Enraged can be dropped onto any ally to power up Team Strike considerably, at the cost of the number of basic attacks that ally can make. Since She-Hulk will be thwarting more early game, this hurts her less than it does the others, and late game, it can help her reach her maximum output fast

  • Utopia is specifically here to grant +1 ally slot, allowing us to Team Strike with 4 allies!

  • Game Time is bonkers good. Extra attacks out of all of these 3-12 ATK monsters is huge. Combined with X-Mansion and more copies of Game Time from the partner deck and the damage output is insane. Readying She-Hulk for an additional 2-THW can also be handy in a pinch. The heals from Game Time and X-Mansion stack with the pseudo-heal from Team Strike to allow for additional activations when necessary

  • The deck can get very thin very quickly, helping Shadowcat see Team Strike, Game Time, and Shadowcat Surprise more often

While it is great to demonstrate the ideal set up, most games won't develop this smoothly, nor is it required to be hitting max value to win. Like most of my decks, the ceiling is high, but the floor will still get the job done. Don't be afraid to aggressively use ally health to stabilize the board state! Toughs, Quick Shift, and Ready to Rumble should cover defensive needs while building. She-Hulk, Airwalk, Shadowcat Surprise, and Wolverine should cover thwarting needs. Multiplayer is where this deck excels, giving more breathing room to set up these heavy hitter allies in a more fashionable manner.

Outside of multiplayer, removing Enraged, Sidearm, and one Game Time for X-Mansion, The X-Jet, and Professor X is a bit more solo friendly. Likewise, you can shirk consistency for output by maxing out Enraged and Sidearm

Partner Deck: Cyclops Leadership

As good as the first deck is on its own, it gets even better in multiplayer. The goal of this deck is to set up the supports such as The X-Jet, Danger Room, and X-Mansion to assist the Shadowcat player. Uncanny X-Men raises She-Hulk's damage ceiling and if played early can make set up much cheaper. Cyclops fills in thwarting, damage, and defensive gaps with his flexible ally line up. Priority Target can give cards to whoever needs them most, while Exploit Weakness really lets the Aggression player push the damage.

If not on TTS or proxying isn't an option, for the next month, Team Training can replace Uncanny X-Men, and Psylocke/Pixie/Forge can be replaced with additional copies of Rapid Response and Danger Room Training, and one copy of Band Together.

As a third player, I recommend Storm-Justice. Thunderstorm adds up to 5 damage to each Team Strike, and even more considering all of the readies from Game Time and Shadowcat Surprise. Stacking with Exploit Weakness makes this a great team-up!

This is a bit out of the ordinary, but it has been remarkably fun! Off-kilter but enjoyable, a bit like the show itself!

@dr00 What a time! x3 Honorary Avenger was wild. Now we'll just have to partner up an Avenger, Guardian, and X-Men for their Honoraries to joint Voltron her haha. Why are the red allies always the most interesting??

That finale was unexpected, but they nailed the fourth wall breaking in the series!
