I'm testing out a Basic suite that could easily be adjusted for each Guardian. Drax needs the most tweaking from the usual, so here we are!

You can find my Venom deck here!

This deck uses allies to help manage the threat while Drax builds counters. The first few turns Drax should be building counters, using his basic defense to keep his health as high as possible. His Booster Boots really help with this, so don't be afraid to lose Mantis from using them. Make the Call is there to bring her back when needed. Mantis and Adam Warlock are high priorities to help Drax heal, but First Aid is scattered in there in case of emergency.

Once Drax has his counters built up, he should let allies chump while he heals up from building his counters. After that, feel free to let the allies take the brunt of things if needed or take an attack if you want the card draw.

The rest of the deck leverages "Welcome Aboard" and The Power in All of Us to essentially run five "The Power of Allies" cards. Knowhere builds on this, triggering off all the Guardians. In fact, Adam Warlock is the only real miss for playing allies. If Knowhere is out, the Guardians give you a card. Maria Hill, Ironheart, and Nick Fury all give cards for playing them. Mockingbird gives a stun, which is definitely worth a card.

Because Drax can take some solid hits and needs to at times, you can use Team Training to get the most out of your allies. Rapid Response is best used on Mantis. It enables her to heal for 6 in the round you use it. Reinforced Suitis a great way to get some extra health on Mantis as well, but with Make the Call and Rapid Response, it's somewhat optional to include.
