ONLY FOR MULTIPLAYER
Some buddies and I were playing Taskmaster and needed help thwarting. We had some trouble with it in other rounds as well just not as bad as against him so this is a test build. In solo, the deck isn't as good so I recommend using it for mainly multiplayer use.

Apr 20, 2021StuWal19 The only issue I really ran into with the deck was I found myself discarding my allies more often than I was using them so I would really consider cutting a couple such as Agent Coulson and possibly Jessica Jones depending on what villain you're playing against. It was super fun and cycling through the invocation deck was pretty normal allowing for big damage plays and consistent thwarting. TO make it 40 cards I think the only other card I would take out would be Under surveillance which sounds weird at first but once I got the one I really didn't need the other. I tried a couple of solo games and the deck worked but wasn't efficient so sticking to multiplayer would be best in my opinion. The only exception to this rule was Green Goblin Mutagen Formula due to the amount of threat that would be added on just one turn. To compensate for the cost of 3+ cards, one of our guys was playing as a protection aspect Spider-Man that had a ton of supports and that really helped with some of the cost with the helicarriers he plays. Overall, the deck is good when it has its supporting cast. |
My only concern with using Justice and this deck is the cost of all the cards. Strange's invocation deck should always be primary since they are so powerful.
I am interested to hear how the 19 cards (cost of 3 and above) goes. Strange has 4 of them. But adding 15 higher cost cards without any additional resource supports makes me feel like I have to make hard compromises throughout the game.
Let me know how the testing goes. I wish I could play multiplayer I still have yet to find a solid group who wants to regularly play.
