Drop in allies and either abuse them to draw cards or EMH them into allowing more Invocations to be cast each round. Don't be afraid to sac off an exhausted Ally to bring in a replacement to allow further abuse (particularly the cheaper ones).
Can also Get Ready or EMH a boosted Goliath for a two 5atk hit if damage is required.
Could run Avengers Tower to cheapen one ally a turn, but you'll want Wong to be a permanent fixture for Invocation Deck tuning - so the Ally limit increase will never apply.
Should be able to drop Tough out often enough to block everything you need, using Allies when piercing is an issue, and stay Hero all the time.
Updated to include an Honorary Avenger and a SkyCycle - for that extra Invocation Deck manipulation or Healing via Wong.
