For Solo Champions League Season 4, Round 4 against Expert Mutagen Formula with Running Interference

  • Win: 11 turns, 2 threat on 1st round of main scheme, 2 minion health, 9 hero + ally health. The latter part of the game was really slow because I didn't get any of my resource generation down on the board. But I kept an ally wall present throughout so was never in too much danger.
  • Win: 12 turns with super messy board. I had Gobby stunned and confused and made the greedy flip to Alter-Ego to grab one extra card and drew a scheme treachery that made the main scheme go to stage 2 and I needed to end the game quickly with a messy board. So dumb.
  • Win: 12 turns, 1 threat on side scheme, 0 minion health, 15 hero + ally health. Although a little long, this was perhaps my best round in two seasons of SCL. I needed to top deck a 0 boost icon on a villain scheme to avoid the main scheme going to stage 2. Fortunately this deck has a lot of those, even if it results in more goblins in play. Lockjaw hit the board twice with Team Training in play so was able to get 3 activations each time.

United We Stand was fantastic when I had a leftover card because it very often gave to allies an extra activation each and/or kept fragile old Clint from having terrifyingly low health.

Good looking deck! Didn't think of United We Stand. How did you like Access in the Situation in the deck? Didn't feel like there were many turns where I had an unspent resource in hand to use like that, but of course would have loved an extra card the next turn

I probably used Assess the Situation once per game and United We Stand once or twice per game. I managed to squeeze some real value of out United We Stand, buying an extra activation out of a couple of allies after I had stunned Gobby. The more I incorporate a handful of 0-cost cards into decks, the more I like it. SCL really forces you to be efficient and consistent and I'm finding that the 0-cost cards help with both of these. Plus I really didn't like how most of the rest of the Leadership allies worked in this deck.
