Main strategy
The strategy of this deck is to keep the villain stunned the entire game. There are 7 cards in total that stun the villain: 3x Heroic Strike, 3x Drop Kick and 1x Mockingbird. In order to trigger the stun on Heroic Strike and Drop Kick, this deck is full of physical resources (25/40 cards and 6 cards that generate ). Note that Heroic Strike requires only 1 in order to stun and Drop Kick requires all 3 in order to stun. Drop Kick is usually a pretty bad card because its hard to trigger, but in this deck the stun (and card draw) is really consistent (I often pay for it with The Power of Aggression and a resource generator Super-Soldier Serum, Martial Prowess or Enhanced Physique).
Side strategy
This deck has huge damage outputs. Aside from the attack events and Captain America's basic attack with Combat Training, both Hulk and Jarnbjorn can do insane amounts of damage.
For Hulk, the fact that this deck has a lot of helps out in dealing an additional 2 damage for every attack. It order to make this work, try and calculate odds based on what non- cards are in play and your discard pile. There are only 5 cards with a mental resource, all from Captain America's main cards, keep a keen eye on where those are because they make #Hulk discard itself.
Jarnbjorn is very strong in this deck, because it can be triggered multiple times in a single turn. Not only because Captain America can effectively use its basic attack twice a turn, but also because it can trigger from each attack event you play. You can pay for its effect to trigger with Super-Soldier Serum and Enhanced Physique as well.
Staying alive
With this deck, you'll rarely swap to alter ego, because you're stunning the villain each turn and you don't really need to be in alter ego form for its ability. If you have to tho, Captain America has some easy ways to thwart the next round. In solo mode, stunning the villain every turn is enough to stay alive, but Captain America has a lot of other ways to do this: Shield Block, Captain America's Helmet and Captain America's decent defending.
Final thoughts
Relentless Assault is in this deck to deal with minions, so that your stun cards can target the villain. It usually gets overkill because of the in this deck. Surprise Attack is added to this deck recently but needs some more playtesting. For now, it has been pretty good, especially when you can combo it with Martial Prowess. It is situational tho.
