Who doesn't love a good Repurpose deck? Even better, one that gets maximum use out of Forcefield Generator before turning it into profit.

With this deck you can turn tech into Daredevil's best friend, almost like his counterpart in that other comic book universe.

Basic Strategy - Tech up
Both Elektra and The Man Without Fear don't need you to take damage to do something, so both Forcefield Generator and Energy Barrier can prevent damage dealt or taken from either source.

  • The key to this deck is using this damage prevention and setting yourself up for big Repurpose turns.
  • Daredevil comes with an on table ready effect from Man Without Fear which is key to getting even more value from a Repurpose turn.
  • the -3 ATK from Heightened Hearing can protect your Forcefield Generator counters so you can Repurpose it later.

Using Daredevil Senses
Daredevil's senses when used right let you do a lot of stuff, but the key is to get the ones you don't need tucked away somewhere so you can cycle the ones you do.

  • Acute Tactility and Enhanced Olfaction are the two I'm looking to use the most in the early game. They require you to defeat an enemy or clear the final threat from a scheme, but they give you a ready and a discount on your next card played. That card could be another sense, but is more than likely one of your tech upgrades.
  • I usually throw Superior Taste on the main scheme and leave it there unless it is really needed. Occasionally you will need to use it on side schemes if the game is particular thwart heavy, but with this deck I often find repurposing for thwart is good enough.
  • Radar Sense is a great end game card for dispatching the villain, which is where I would put it and leave it unless you were in scenario that has lots of beefy minions. When you hit the endgame and it is time to push damage you will cycle Radar Sense on the villain rather that anything else.
  • Heightened Hearing, as previously discussed can protect your Forcefield Generator, and occasionally yourself if you find yourself in a bind. Get it on the villain and use it when you have to.

Other Tricks

  • Deft Focus is such a great upgrade for playing our your sense upgrades. It's a shame you can only have one of them.
  • Defensive Training can recycle Repurpose when you have used it or discarded it early.
  • You definitely want to play Elektra in this deck and you are somewhat relying on her ability to siphon damage to Daredevil to get your tech upgrades ready for Repurpose. The Sidearm boosts her damage protects her from retaliate. She is also key to playing the team-up card Dance with the Devil which is such a value card. 0-cost for 3 damage that can trigger Radar Sense, or be used as bonus damage for Daredevil's attack events before being used for it's own damage.
  • Specialized Training is easily one of the most fun player side schemes and is pretty easy to clear even in a 4-player game if you Repurpose into thwart. For this build I recommend Combat Specialist unless there is another combat heavy readying character at the table. With Daredevil's Billy Club and Combat Specialist you increase your ATK to 4 before you even start adding ATK for Repurpose. With you ability to ready you will get the most value from Combat Specialist.

I've had a lot of fun with this deck (and Daredevil in general), so let me know if you try it out, or have been playing around with something similar.
