Setup and Go! (First turn Captain Marvel)

Playthrough against Expert Ronan the Accuser.

Setup

• Use Cameo add Captain Marvel to your deck
• Use the Soldier X to put Evaluate Threat into play (be sure to discard it to Cameo if it ends up in your hand).

First turn

Thwart out Evaluate Threat with Cable and grab Captain Marvel from you deck and ready Cable with his response. You may then play Captain Marvel at -2 cost.

Multiplayer

The deck works best in solo when you can always clear Evaluate Threat first turn but can still be strong, just slower, in multiplayer.

You may still be able to clear Evaluate Threat during the first player's first turn if you can convince another player(s) to run either:

• Gambit to use his Thief Extraordinaire ability or to mulligan hard for Creole Charmer or possibly Breakin' & Takin' to play as an action while in alter-ego during the first player's turn.
• Black Widow and mulligan hard for Covert Ops or possibly Breakin' & Takin' to play as an action while in alter-ego during the first player's turn.
• Daredevil (in the very near future) and mulligan hard for Living Lie Detector or Deposition to play as an action while in alter-ego during the first player's turn.

But if you can't clear Evaluate Threat during the first player's turn you are generally better of waiting until the next turn to clear it so everyone can play the card they find at -2 cost during their turn.
