The Bard of Bleecker Street

In Dungeons & Dragons, the Bard is the ultimate utility and support class, renowned as a charismatic "jack-of-all-trades". They use music, poetry, and magic to inspire allies, control the battlefield, and manipulate social encounters. Bardic Inspiration grants allies a special bonus to their attacks, ability checks, or saving throws.

In the Core Set it seems that the Leadership was intended not only to be an ally swarm aspect but to also power up other heroes in multiplayer. Morale Boost and Lead from the Front can both be played on other heroes. Doctor Strange has the Magical Enhancement upgrade, which can be played on another hero. Other cards feature the text Play under any player's control. That sounds like a D&D Bard to me, which makes Doctor Strange the Bard of Bleecker Street.

Helicarrier and Avengers Mansion can both get the "call for an action" from other players. Now the good doctor has a Resource Reserve for others to use as well. Organizational Support is flexible depending on the team build of other heroes.

Recruitment Drive can help others put an ally into play. Command Team is another called action to ready an ally.

Mission Leader and Maria Hill allow every hero to draw a card.
