Brains Over Brawn, Turn the Tide, and Waylay all do damage after a hero thwarts. With Ghost-Spider, since they are either Hero Response or Response, she readies. Then attack with Upside the Head, also a Hero Response to confuse the enemy and ready again. If you play a second Upside the Head with another basic attack, stun the enemy, too!
Making an Entrance is a Hero Interrupt that will also ready Ghost-Spider after she thwarts, hopefully removing all threat in order to heal +2. But even just boosting her basic THW then readying is quite good.

With these thwarting antics clearing player side schemes like Lay the Trap and Specialized Training is a breeze. Using the basic thwart so much should also be worth an extra card via Surveillance Specialist. With this in play, raise Ghost-Spider's basic thwart to 4 with both Heroic Conditioning and Heroic Intuition. Clear Generation X late game to grab Ghost Kick to finish off the villain.

The Superior Spider-Man: Otto Octavius will ready Web-Bracelet when played from hand after using it to draw a card. Web-Bracelets triggering in the player phase allows for very strong card draw. Draw another card with Skilled Investigator when clearing a side scheme. Bring more side schemes into play One Way or Another.
Having confused one or more enemies with Upside the Head, the Spider-Woman ally is usually less costly to play.
If you're looking for an ally-focused deck for web-warrior shenanigans, check out my riff on Ghost-Spider Leader, Interrupted.
Great title! I never thought of using Making an Entrance or Upside the Head with Ghost-Spider. I'll try this, but will probably add Web of Life and Destiny and SP//dr for the card draw recursion.
